about:
An advertising/fashion photographer from Pittsburgh, I earned a BFA in Photography from RIT in 2004, and worked as Director of Photography and Graphic services for Carnegie Mellon. As a freelancer, I specialize in studio and environmental portraiture & fashion. After a spinal injury, and several surgeries, I took up woodworking as a creative outlet, during my convalescence. I discovered lathing, and started making pens from wood, to give as unique gifts during the holidays. They were a huge hit, and I started getting requests for custom pieces, so I opened an Etsy store to sell online. I now offer an large assortment of pens, knife scales, and custom resin projects, and people are using my little works of art to write, draw, create, and inspire all over the country, from LA to NYC, and around the world from Norway to Mexico! I look forward to expanding my products, styles, and merchandise, thank you for making Crimson King Ink a success!
